Among those attending were 10 nurses from Sri Lanka. Copies of the presentations are available on the CNF website: <a href="http://www.commonwealthnurses.org/" target="_blank">http://www.commonwealth nurses.org</a></font></p></td> </tr> <tr> <td><div align="justify"> <p><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><img src="213.gif" width="290" height="109" align="top"><br> The CNF in conjunction with the Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI) held a very successful workshop in New Delhi 18 February 2009 on the CNF <strong>4Safety</strong> theme: A safe patient; a safe workplace; a safe profession and a safe nurse. Forty five nurses from India, Sri Lanka and the Maldives attended the workshop. </font></p> <p><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">The participants included Mrs Satish Chawla, the CNF Vice President, Mr Arvind Kulkarni CNF Board member for the South Asia region and Mrs Sheila Seda, Secretary-General of TNAI. On this day the British Commonwealth came to an end and the modern Commonwealth of  freely and equally associated states came into being.
