Nursing is the oldest profession to care the sick & aged. The
changing trend in nursing is to cope with the advanced technologies
& consumer’s need for quality care. The aging population
is on increase due to better living & improved life expectancy.
Due to our socio-economic & cultural changes in today’s
society the old parents are left alone. To take care of this population
is also becoming the part of the responsibility of nurses.
In order to achieve these objectives consistent & continuous education
is a necessity.
Majority of the nurses are the members of the professional organisation:
known as The Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI),
which has its branches in all the States of India. Association has
always been aiming at qualitative improvement of the nursing care.
It has been our long cherished ambition to have our own Central Institute
of Nursing & Old Age Home.
State branches of TNAI have generously donated towards this good cause,
we are able to acquire two acre of land in NOIDA & the project
is in progress. But, in order to complete the project we still need
more financial resources.
Therefore, we appeal for your generous contributions/donations towards
completing this project by 2008 i.e. the centenary year of the Association.
We would also like to inform you that your contributions will be exempted
from Income Tax under 80(G). Your Cheque/demand draft may be addressed
to: TNAI, New Delhi.
Your valuable donation towards the cost of construction of
any block or wing, will be acknowledged appropriately by displaying
name plaque of donor individual/institution.
Soliciting your wholehearted co-operation in this matter.
Thanking you,
(Mrs.) Sheila Seda
Secretary-General
