Tribute
to our teachers
The
countdown to the XXII SNA Biennial Conference,
to be held from October 10 to14 at Surat in Gujarat,
has begun. The detailed programme of the Conference
is being given in this issue along with forms
for registration and for participating in the
various competitions and exhibition. By now you
have all the information that you need. We look
forward to see you in Surat!
Let
us salute our nurses for coping with the extra
ordinary situation whether its floods, bomb blasts
or other calls for emergency. They have demonstrated
their endurance, resilience and commitment to
the cause. We commend their efforts particularly,
nurses from Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Jammu &
Kashmir and Maharashtra.
TNAI
joins the students' fraternity in paying our deepest
gratitude and respects to our Teachers on the
occasion of Teachers Day on 5th September and
International Literacy Day on 8th September. Month
of September has a very special and significant
place in our lives. TNAI's present Headquarters'
building was inaugurated on September 30, 1961
by Mrs. Indira Gandhi. September 28, 2005 was
auspicious for we, registered our Central Institute
of Nursing and Elderly Care Home at Greater NOIDA,
Knowledge Park-III, Plot No. 31-1/37. This Institute
will be focusing on promoting professional development
of nurses through education, service and research
activities. This sums up that education should
never go out of our lives. Therefore keep the
learning curve always moving upward.
